Anandra and the Heart of Sound global family engage in several service projects dedicated to:
-spreading the magic of mantra chanting for peace,
-providing a platform for the global community of pioneers in a variety of sacred sound traditions,
-and nourishing the next generation of Indian children who will perpetuate the spiritual essence of their traditional cultures.
- Mantras for Peace – a website encouraging chanting mantras for peace, reaching a global community of peacemakers through our free 108-day e-course and regular events offered both in person and online. Anandra created the e-course and the project is now run entirely by volunteers from the Heart of Sound teacher training program. Thousands of people are chanting daily for the 108-day challenge, year round!
- Sacred Sound Stage – a space for the yoga of sound offered all day every day of the famous International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh, India. The SSS is curated by Anandra and staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers from the Heart of Sound teacher training program.
- Educational Projects – proceeds from the Heart of Sound teacher training program are distributed between at least 3 different charitable organizations offering academic, spiritual, and cultural education to underprivileged villagers in India, especially to girls. As of November 2018, more than 150 girls have had their school fees sponsored for a year.Pūrṇa Vidyā supports village children in the Uttarkashi area where we hold our Module 2 training.
