There are 3 easy ways to connect to the video meeting, by computer/tablet/smartphone, the ZOOM app, or by dialing in via a telephone or mobile phone, using ZOOM:
1. The easiest way is to just click the link on your *HIGH-SPEED INTERNET CONNECTED* computer or tablet (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android):

If it asks you for Meeting ID & password:
Meeting ID: (use the ID provided in the email)

Pass: (use the password provided in the email)
2. You can also join from the ZOOM app:
(Download and install from ZOOM.com in advance – it takes a few minutes if your internet connection is good.)
Join from app use the information provided in the email.
3. If your internet is shaky, you can join from Telephone:
Phone call + Meeting ID: (use the ID provided in the email)

**Please do try to use the video service whenever you can. It’ll be better for you to be able to see Anandra, and her computer screen, and for her to see you when it comes time for you to chant the sounds.**

How to test your connection:
After you receive the email with the unique link URL, meeting ID, password, try connecting via your preferred method from options described above.
You’ll be alone in the meeting (probably!) but you’ll see what the app looks like and should be able to see yourself in the video.
We suggest you also get the international dialing number for your country, and keep it handy as a backup in case your internet goes out.
What are the class times?
The times for the group calls are here:
If your country/time zone is not listed, you can use a service such as http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html to convert the time in your place.
If I am not available during the time of the class, how does it work?
Each class is recorded as an Mp3 (audio) recording. We will also try recording it as video, but that’s not as reliable. After the call finishes, there are two ways you can access it:
1.The video will be available for a limited time in the ZOOM app and you can access it there.
2. It will also be uploaded to the same Dropbox (online file storage) folder where all of our private instructional videos, PDFs, and Mp3 files are, you can watch on your computer, or even download the file to your own hardrive and watch it later. (Access Dropbox via the link provided in the email you’ll receive a few days before the course starts.)
What happens if I drop the call?
If you do, you can always just dial back in and rejoin us. Anandra may have to do the same, since she’s in India and the internet can have hiccups. If she does, just carry on and she’ll be back soon!
How can I see other participants in the online circle?
The app takes care of that for you automatically, if you’re calling in via the internet. (If you’re calling in from a phone you won’t see anything, and we won’t see you, of course, unless we’re all gifted psychics!) You will actually see the other participants during the first part of our call, and during certain portions we’ll turn video of to improve the call quality. Other times, you’ll see Anandra’s screen when she’s going over portions of the course materials.
Is it long distance?
If you’re calling in using the internet, there is no charge for you. If you’re calling in by phone, the number probably is a toll number, so you can either use your cell phone if you have free long distance, or call using Skype credit or something similar, and it’ll only cost you a small amount to make the call. Just be sure you’re in a spot with good reception (or internet connection) so you don’t drop from the call. If you do, you can always just dial back in and rejoin us.
How do I mute myself, or turn my video off?
The “Mute” and “Video Off” buttons are at the bottom left hand corner of the ZOOM application screen. At some point in the call, I may ask everyone to mute themselves so that the sound of us chanting together doesn’t get jumbled up. (If you’re calling in from your phone, simply use the controls on your own phone.)
What is Dropbox?
Dropbox is an online file sharing website. It’s free, and you just need to join and download a file to your computer. I email an invitation to a private, shared folder for this practice shortly after our first call, and you simply need to follow the instructions in that email to download the software, setup your account, and have access to the files.
How do I use Dropbox?
Once you have Dropbox, you can view the files in the shared folder anytime on your computer. But please DO NOT DELETE or MOVE the files from the shared folder. If you want to have them on another device (such as your Ipad), make a COPY. Otherwise, the files will not be there when someone else needs to access them. Thanks!
What is the Facebook group?
It’s a private group for our discussions, insights, questions about the mantra practice. Your FB friends can see you’re in the group, but no one but group members can see the posts.
How do I post in the Facebook group?
On your home page in facebook, on the left hand column, you have a “groups” section. (Depending on how your settings are, and whether or not FB changes the layout!) The group should appear there. Click it, and you’re in!
